continues to be a community anchor encouraging discovery, enrichment and lifelong learning.
Warm weather, beautiful beaches, a blue-ribbon elementary school (Lee County School District), an outstanding library, and an international

and wildlife refuges. The Island hosts the Sanibel Historical Village, other museums and theaters as well as the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation,
the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, and the Sanibel Sea School. Sanibel has thoughtfully and deliberatively maintained a balance between
development and preservation of the island’s ecology. For more information about the Library and Sanibel Island, visit Sanibel Links.
